I'm not much of a country music fan but if i had to choose which type i prefer, it would definetely be New Country.

I don't like counrty either, but there are few artists I do like, such as LeAnne Rimes, and Shania Twain, and that's it.

I really like Martina McBride. I have her greatest hits cd which i listen to from time to time. I also like Shania, though she's really not even considered New Country anymore.

New Country for me definitely...maybe if I was born a little earlier I may say differently. My faves are Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Allison Krauss, Brad Paisley...along those lines. Shania is amazing though...she never gets boring!!

There r some genres of country music recently i have found out: pop country, bluegrass, outlaw, red dirt, Texas country, western, rockabilly...and so on. So many, huh? I dont know much about these genres but i wouldnt mind which genres the song belongs to, as long as they sound good. smile.gif
